Trivia[]

  • When Anna reminds Sadie of summer session registration on June 19th, Sadie starts describing taphonomy as a class she is considering. It's basically the study of the process of biological remains becoming fossilized - thus of obvious value to archaeologists whenever they have human or other animal remains to work with at their dig sites. It's a fascinating subject that has several overlaps in paleontology and forensics. However, the term wasn't even defined until 1949.
