IMPORTANT: The '8 - Climbing or Poise' obstacle does not appear; it will be fixed in an update. The obstacle is actually skipped over, and the game treats it as if you passed the obstacle. However, winning that obstacle would give you +1 Relationship with Sterling, so that may account for a missing relationship point.
